A car crashed into a wall on the Roosevelt Extension near Broad Street Thursday night in Hunting Park and left one person is dead as reported by the police.

It was around 11:10 p.m. when a driver losing control of the car slammed the vehicle into the wall of an overpass and immediately burst into flames.

Police said that have to close the southbound lanes of the Roosevelt Extension while they are conducting investigation. .

No information was available about the identity of the victim and the model of the car.
