Among the many deadliest crashes with the maximum collateral damage, the accident at Los Angeles County is no exception.

In an multi-vehicle collision on the Southbound Golden State (5) freeway near Lebec in northern Los Angeles County on Tuesday left many injured and two of them dead.

A woman and a girl were among the deceased and six more were injured of which three were children.

The crash was reported as to have occurred at around 5 a.m. near Stare Route 138. Though the circumstances that led to the crash were unknown and under investigation according to CHP officer Francisco Villalobos.

To the same CHP officer Adriaan Garcia added that a woman in her early 40s and a girl about 11 were the ones who died on the spot. Their names were, however, withheld overdue notification of family members

Garcia also told about six or more people had already been transported to hospital for further treatment.

Because of all this mess created due to the accident, about four southbound freeway lanes had been blocked for several hours, when working crews were busy clearing the debris and wreckage of cars.
