CARBONADO – A truck rolled multiple times down a hill at a remote off-road vehicle park near Mount Rainier and the searchers in Pierce County are looking for the driver. Finally the searchers have located the body of a young Auburn man. The 21-year-old survivor told authorities the two had been driving around the park when the truck went down a steep embankment. He told reporters that his 23-year-old friend was unconscious when he left to get help. He said he walked for miles before reaching the town of Carbonado.

According to Ed Trover who is Pierce County sheriff’s spokesman, it appeared that the victim managed to make his way some distance before dying. He was not immediately identified.

After some time, searchers in Pierce County have finally located the body of a young Auburn, Wash., man whose friend trekked for hours to get help after their truck rolled multiple times down a hill at a remote off-road vehicle park near Mount Rainier.

The 21-year-old survivor told the authorities that two of them had been driving around the park when the truck went down a steep embankment. The survivor said that after the crash he found his 23-year-old friend was unconscious so he left to get help. He said that he walked for miles before reaching the town of Carbonado where he got help.

He then guided the East Pierce Fire & Rescue crew back to the crash site on Thursday. By following a trail of blood from the vehicle, the search team found the victim’s body.
