Two separate incidents happened in Philly in early Sunday morning which the police are investigating. The first incident took place at around 2:00 o’clock in the morning at the corner Somerset and 2nd Streets in the Fairhill section of the city.

Police reported that two cars collided at the corner which caused an injury to one person. The victim was transported to the University Hospital of Temple sustained unknown injuries.

The second accident happened approximately 4:16 o’clock in the morning at the Woodhaven Road at the vicinity of Knights Road along Northeast Philadelphia.

Police reported that a 25-year-old female driver, identified as Ashley Aldworth, female lost control of her Hyundai 2005Tucson. While traveling eastbound along the Woodhaven Road, she hit the guard rail. The impact made the car flipped over as it fell down the embankment.

The female victim was delivered to Aria Hospital of Frankford Aria where she was pronounced dead at at 4:54 o’clock that morning.
