Sta. Ana – Authorities of Sta. Ana announced that the suspect of the fatal car wreck which happened Thursday morning had been arrested and is now in police custody.

The victim was 78 years old, Miguel Chavez Ceja who was walking near the intersection of Orange Avenue and Stanford Street at 6:40 o’clock in the morning. He was suddenly hit by a vehicle which Sta.  Ana Police identified as a 740iL BMWdark blue in color, vintage 1995.

Ceja was visiting Mexico to spend time with his children. At 9:45 o’clock in the morning of Saturday, he was hit by a car and declared him dead at the scene.

Police officers were able to stop the rampaging vehicle at the corner of Columbine Avenue and Main Street, according to the Santa Ana Police.

They were sure that it was the errant vehicle as the debris found on the scene matched the car.
