This car turned over several times before it landed on a sign and burst into flame, according to description of the police.

The operator of the vehicle was a 19-year-old frustrated racer who  made Labor Day appeared deadly and is now facing charges for one of his passengers was killed one when he lost control of his car. He was while  allegedly drag racing along Route 1 in Bucks County. Police noted that car having a speed of 73 mph when driver lost control

When the investigators reached the scene on the 3100-block of Lincoln Highway around 10:30 Sept. 3, they found a 2000 Volvo sedan on fire. The car hit a guard rail, struck a concrete pillar and rolled over before it burst into flame at Street Road.

Witnesses and an off-duty police officer said that the Volvo was racing a white Ford Crown Victoria and they were heading north. Along the way, the driver lost control of the vehicle started to roll a couple of times, crashed into the sign of a car accessories store, Driver’s Choice, and then caught fire.

The driver of the burning car was later identified as Aurelio Xhepaj resident of the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia, and the other front passenger was identified as Mary Logan also of the same place. According to the police, they were both ejected from the vehicle.

The passenger at the back was identified as Michelle Price, 19 years old from North Carolina. She died while inside the car due to severe blunt force trauma to the head.

The two surviving victims, Xhepaj and Logan were transported immediately to Aria-Torres dale Hospital. Logan, who had broken several vertebrae, her collar bone and her thumb from the wreck, told the authorities that Xhepaj lost control of his car while racing and hit the guard rail.

Police surmised that the speed of the Volvo was73 mph at the time of the crash.

The Magisterial Court judge arraigned Xhepaj last Tuesday with several charges: on criminal homicide, homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle, reckless endangerment, illegal racing and related charges. Xhepaj was confined in jail Wednesday on $1 million bail.
