Los Angeles—the operator of a hit-and-run collision is now the object of the Los Angeles Police Department that hit a man and left him critically injured in the Westlake district of Los Angeles last Friday.

At 12:05 o’clock in the morning, the victim identified as Francisco Perez, age 31, was crossing the street outside a crosswalk at the corner of 8th Street and Westlake Avenue. Authorities stated that Perez was hit by a minivan that was silver in color. The male operator did not stop but reportedly fled from the scene.

Perez sustained life-threatening injuries was transported to County-USC Medical Center where he stays under critical condition.

Witnesses were able to see the incident and they observed that the driver was male Hispanic operating silver Odyssey Honda.
