Norwalk, Calif. –At least one man riding a skateboard in Norwalk was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver on an early Saturday morning. Before 4:00 o’clock in the morning, a man on his skateboard was the victim of a collision which took place near the corner of Foster and Studebakers Roads.

The victim, identified as Daniel Ortiz, age 20 of Norwalk died at the scene. The driver fled the scene and is now the object of a police manhunt. Authorities are requesting witnesses to come forward for any information regarding the driver and the vehicle.
