Police reported on the death of a 22-year-old man from a car accident about 3:15 a.m. Sunday on the West Side.
Another passenger was a 14-year-old kid who was also injured but fortunately is no in a stable condition at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, the police said.
Travelling at top speed, the car hit a viaduct on the 1000 block of South Francisco Avenue, according to police report.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office announced that the fatality was Anthony Allen, a resident of the 2900 block of West Flourney. He was declared dead at Mount Sinai Hospital at 3:43 that morning.
The police was not clear on who among the two riders in the vehicle was at the wheel.
