January 17, 2013 Montebello – Killed early Thursday morning was a man in his 30’s in a crash involving two big rigs. At around 2:50 o’clock in the morning, the deadly truck mishap happened occurred near the Garfield Avenue exit along 60 Freeway 60.

Officials reported that the victim was operating a passenger vehicle when he crash into the trailer section of a big rig. To make the situation worse, a second big rig rear-ended the passenger vehicle which killed the driver on the scene.

Pomona Freeway was closed until around 6:00 o’clock in the morning as the authorities were investigating what caused the crash.
