Two vehicle crash in New Orleans – On Saturday of December 18, 2012, a woman, age 59, was dead when the car she was riding crashed with another vehicle at the intersection of North Galvez and Franklin Avenue, reported the police.

At around 7:00 o’clock in the evening, a17-years-old male operator of a Camry tan Toyota was traveling along north Franklin Avenue when he hit a blue Park Avenue Buick at the corner of North Galvez continued the police.

The driver of the blue Buick was a 60-year-old woman who was going east along North Galvez Street. The driver of the Buick had a 59-year-old passenger.

Both of them were transported to an area hospital where the 59-year-old woman died due to critical injuries. The name of the fatality was not released unyil authorities have notified the nearest relative. The 60-year-old driver is said to be in stable condition.

Investigators are looking into the case while the Coroner’s Office will do an autopsy to determine cause of death.
