EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. – August 3, 2012 (WPVI) – This morning lots of actions were coming from the Action Cam. This was due to the utility track accident in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey Friday morning.

Police learned that the driver 35-year-old Edwin Santiago was travelling south near the intersection of Fire Road and Delilah Road around 6:30 a.m. There was no problem with traffic as vehicles were moving along the thoroughfare.

The top of Santiago’s truck which is called the boom was in its upright position when it struck an overhead wire causing the vehicle to over run. It was fortunate that no one was injured.

A motor vehicle summons for careless driving was later issued to Santiago. The owner of the truck is the American Lighting and Signalization (ALS) – a private company. Santiago was only their driver.
