Pickup crashes into Kensington building
KENSINGTON –At least one person was hospitalized after a pickup truck crashed into a building in Philadelphia’s Kensington section Monday morning. It was a fearful experience to see a track crashing into a concrete building. It was a crazy way for a small object to crash against a big solid one!
People in the area of Frankford Avenue and E. Sergeant Street were all stunned when they saw the pick-up crashing on the building. It was around 6:30 a.m. when the accident occurred.
Officials say it was fortunate that the victim’s injuries were minor and do not appear to be life threatening. The victim was send home after the doctor treated his injuries and considered them minor. KENSINGTON – August 7, 2011 (WPVI) — Four people, including three teenagers were injured in an overnight accident in West Kensington.
The accident happened around 1:45 a.m. at the intersection of North 2nd Street and Indiana Avenue. Motorists should be more careful in driving within an accident-prone place such as this.
A week ago, another accident happened in the same area when two two vehicles collided, causing one of the cars to careen up the street and strike a third vehicle that was parked nearby.
Four victims were hurt in the crash, and were taken to Temple University and St. Christopher’s hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.
It was also here in Kensington where Tabitha Dobrzynski, 38, was charged with four related charges: negligent manslaughter due to careless operation of a motor vehicle, marijuana possession, and life-threatening injury caused by reckless driving of a motor vehicle and drug consumption.
