A teener was life-flighted to Akron Children’s Hospital while another teen was injured when a dirt bike and an all-terrain vehicle crashed head-on Wednesday night.
The message about the collision was received by. Carroll County Dale Williams in his office at 9:43 p.m.
The property owner where the accident occurred reported that two boys had crashed head on.
The two boys, Cameron Civillo, 15, of 6289 S. Water St., Uhrichsville collided heads on with Dewayne Wright, 19, of 1141 Folsam Road, NW, Carrollton. Civillo was riding an ATV at 2229 Amsterdam Road, Bowertson and going around a curve. He crashed on Wright who was riding his dirt bike.
The impact sent the bent front wheel of the bike under the engine of the dirt bike.
Civillo was wearing a helmet, but he did not secure the chin strap.
Running to the crash scene, the property owner saw Wright limping and walking around, but that Civillo was bleeding and was not responsive.
The Perrysville Fire Department immediately arrived into the scene and a medical helicopter landed on nearby state Route 164 airlifting Civillo to Akron while Wright was brought to Aultman Hospital in Canton.
As of date, no information was available about the accident and the condition of the victims.
