At least one man died in a single-vehicle crash that took place at about 6:30 o’clock in the evening of Saturday at Stefko Boulevard and Walters Street in front of Just Born Inc. in Bethlehem, a according to a news release from the Bethlehem Police Department states.

Police said a passenger in the car was removed from the vehicle by firefighters and was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries, according to a news release.

Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek identified the victim as Dwayne A. Heckett, age 42, resident of Indianapolis. The police learned that Hackett was in the area visiting friends.

County Coroner, Lysek later announced that pronounced Heckett died as a result of the 6:30 p.m. accident and the cause of death was blunt force trauma. However, the manner of death was classified as accidental.

Bethlehem police revealed only few details about the crash at Stefko Boulevard and Walters Street but said speed appeared to be a factor. The road’s speed limit is 35 mph.

According to police, investigation is ongoing while the Northampton County Coroner’s Office is trying to notify next of kin.
