PASADENA, Calif. – After the accident which claimed lives of three people, death finally came to the rescue of the fourth victim, relieved him of his pain.
The man, a 59-year-old, died from his injuries during the night at the Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena.
This incident originally caught grip of three people, after an SUV slipped off the edge of 134 Freeway at Figueroa Street in Eagle Rock on Sunday night.
A very young girl of about 6 was admitted to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in a very critical state. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) said the little girl was literally thrown out of the car during crash as she must not have her seat belt on.
Officials claim the crash occurred on Sunday at around 6:30 p.m. According to the authorities, the 40 yr.-old driver of the SUV lost control after the front tire blew off. This resulted in the SUV rolling over once, and this was when the girl was catapulted out, and then the vehicle bounced further ahead and off the freeway onto the road down below.
Thus, the driver of the SUV, an eleven year old girl and a lady in her thirties lost their lives on the spot.
It took a while for the shocked eye witnesses to gather their wits, but by the time they arrived to help, it was already too late.
Witnesses at Figueroa Street mentioned the incident to be so quick and surreal. As the investigation of the case proceeded, officials declared presence of alcohol and assumed it could have been a factor
