Times Square and Theater District – FDNY reported that a woman was hit by a vehicle and sustained injuries at the vicinity of the Theater District.

A fire spokesperson stated that at about 9:20 o’clock in the morning, the victim was standing at the corner of the Americas and West 46th Streets when she was hit by the vehicle.

The woman remained conscious and was breathing but her nose was bleeding profusely.. She was delivered to Weill Cornell’s New York Presbyterian Hospital, sustaining non-life threatening injuries, the spokesperson reported.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.

Brownsville — A Cherokee Jeep struck and killed a man from Brooklyn Jeep along Linden Boulevard last Tuesday night, according to the report of NYPD.

The victim was identified as Gerald Green, 52 years-old. He was trying to cross Linden Boulevard, just near Rockaway Parkway at about 11:30 o’clock in the evening when a Jeep Cherokee 2001 Jeep hit him.

According to the police, Green was crossing against the light which was difficult for the coming vehicle to see. He was rushed to Brookdale but was pronounced dead soon after.

The 36-year-old driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police. The police believed that no crime was committed. The Id of the driver will be released pending result of investigation.
