At last one person died from a fatal accident today. Lt. Stephen D’anjou reported that officers arrived to find a 3-vehicle accident involving a delivery truck at the corner of Lomita and Ocean Ave. A vehicle coming from westbound to Lomita collided with a southbound car on Ocean, which then hit a third one on Lomita.

Caprio was the operator of the second vehicle and he sustained major injuries. He was immediately transported to a hospital but his injuries were critical that he later died. The other driver was injured but one escaped with no injuries at all.

Due to the crash, Lomita Blvd was closed for three hours as authorities were making preliminary investigation. Anyone with additional information should contact Torrance police at (310)618-5557.

Yesterday, a 39 year old man was driving his 1999 Jeep Cherokee east of Figueroa when he tried to avoid some debris around 1am. Instead, he struck the objects and lost control. His Jeep rolled over and ended up on Colorado and Melrose. He was transported to the hospital and is now is recovering after his car went over the side of the 134 freeway and ended up on Colorado Blvd.

Medical authorities reported that his injuries were described as moderate. On the same day, a 21 year old man identified as Pascual Antonio Garcia died after a fatal bicycle crash on Mountain Ave in Ontario.

Officials reported that he was riding his bicycle just south of Flora St and was hit by a vehicle coming southbound around 8:40 in the evening of Sunday, December 2. The driver stopped and called 9-1-1. Garcia was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 9:33pm.
