In the crash involving three cars that took place at around 5 a.m. on Tuesday on the southbound Interstate 5 in Gorman, around nine (9) people were injured, and two (2) were killed.

According to Officer Robert Rodriguez, among the injured was a child.

While the Los Angeles County Fire officials confirmed that out of the many people affected, at most four needed to be air-lifted to hospitals as they were in a very critical condition and the remaining five had a few minor injuries, including the child.

During the course of time, all southbound lanes of the Grapevine were closed, that resulted in over a mile long blockade on the road.

However, after the people were hospitalized and the debris was cleared, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reopened the southbound lane of the Grapevine freeway pass north of Los Angeles.

Many people though, are unfortunate and suffer heavy losses, be it materialistic or emotional.
