A pickup truck ran off the road at the entrance ramp to southbound Interstate 65 off First Street, just south of Broadway but the man who dies as result of accident remained unidentified.
The police of Louisville Metro are looking for people who might have witnessed the fatal accident that happened on the entrance ramp to southbound Interstate 65 at First Street, just south of Broadway.
The unidentified victim is a male who was pronounced dead at the scene. The deceased was driving a black Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck that veered off the road. It crashed into a tree, rolled off and rest next to the trees, not far from the ramp.
Alicia Smiley, spokeswoman for the Louisville Metro Police said that they are certain that the driver must have lost control, but they do not know why. The Police received a call that someone had run off the road at 6:20 o’clock late afternoon but there were no witnesses to interview at the scene.
Police are asking anyone who saw the accident to call 574-LMPD.
A medical emergency was taken as the cause for a fatal crash that shut down a ramp to Interstate 65 last Thursday night, reported the Police.
The fatality was identified as 49-year-old John O’Bryan who died in the crash occurring at First and Jacob streets. The deceased was from Bloomfield, Kentucky.
The coroner believed that the victim must have suffered from a heart attack while he was operating his vehicle. This medical emergency was the reason why he crashed into a tree which cause his death.
