LOUISVILLE, KY – Have you seen a vehicle on top of another? This was the jarring sight for motorists driving along Dixie Highway in Pleasure Ridge Park Saturday afternoon. After a minivan crashed, it settled on top of a car: the crash left a minivan sitting on top of a car.
The crash happened around 4:15 o’clock in the afternoon at Dixie at Crawford Avenue. According to a MetroSafe dispatcher, it was an injury accident but fortunately, the injuries were not life-threatening.
There was no other information given on the cause of the crash.
Pending result of investigation, the identities of the drivers and the persons involved in the crash was not given out to the media. Authorities did not even tell how many suffered mild injuries, which hospital they were transported and their current condition.
Accidents happen more than once a day even in the same place; as a multi-vehicle crash occurred on the Gene Snyder Freeway. The accident caused a road jam that needed traffic backups during the early Monday morning rush hour on the Gene Snyder Freeway.
According to MetroSafe, the crash took place at7:15 o’clock in the morning along the westbound Snyder (I-265) between Preston Highway (KY 61) and the ramp to northbound I-65.
Like the other mishap, no one was injured, but TRIMARC officials stated that this was an amazing incident involving at least 10 cars.
Although the Westbound traffic heading toward I-65 was moving, but it was going at a very slow pace. The backup was reported near Bardstown Road, approximately seven miles.
