A man from Township Road 25, Warsaw, was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash involving a vehicle and the motorcycle. James C. Harstine, 66, was driving on State Route 36, near Country Road 495, a little after 8 p.m. Sunday when the accident happened.
Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office learned that Kurt Strongosky, 17, of Coshocton was driving his Camaro east on State Route 36 and lost control. His vehicle swerved left of center and slammed against the Suzuki motorcycle driven by Harstine.
According to Coshocton County Sheriff Timothy Rogers, an eyewitness said Strongosky was driving his vehicle at high speed. Strongosky was brought to the Heli-Pad at Coshocton Memorial Hospital and sky lifted to Med-Flight to Grant Hospital in Columbus. Until Sunday, no news was out regarding his condition.
The police are continuing their investigation.
