    Bad things come in 3’s

According to an old saying – misfortune never comes singly; so many believed that bad things come in 3’s especially when referred to accidents, deaths and other mishaps.

Dunleith, Del. – Police reported that a man under the influence of liquor was over speeding and hit three parked cars along New Castle County.

This incident took place along Block 1000 at Bunche Boulevard within the Dunleith community at about 10:30 o’clock Saturday night.

Dunleith police stated that Dajuan Cruz, age 25 and resident of Newark, Delaware was traveling along Bouche Boulevard when for unknown reasons he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into another car. Cruz was operating a Lincoln 2001 Continental that struck a Dodge 2001 Intrepid parked along the way.

Police say Cruz was no longer able to control the vehicle as his car continued running down the sidewalk and hit another Chevy 2000 Silverado which was parked along the way which impelled the Chevy to hit a nearby house.

Authorities reported that building inspector checked the house and deemed that the house was safe for habitation.

Cruz was transported to the Hospital of Christiana and after being treated for minor injuries was released. He was presented the following charges: driving DUI; careless driving; leaving the scene of an accident; failure to provide information about an accident and driving with suspecded license.

Somerville, N.J. – Another celebrity is in trouble. This time, the actress-in-trouble is famous for her role in the formerTV series, Melrose Place actress Amy Locane-Bovenizer.

She was driving DUI when her SUV crashed into a car killing a woman from New Jersey. For this crime, she was given a sentence of three-year imprisonment.

Th husband of the deceased New Jersey woman and his son were frustrated with with the verdict as they rushed out of court after shouting that the sentence was a mockery.

After a jury conviction of 10 years imprisonment last November of the vehicular homicide she caused in the 2010 death of 60-years-old Helene Seeman from Montgomery Twp., it was lowered by the judge to a maximum three years imprisonment. He reasoned that it will be great hardship on Amy Locane-Bovenizer’s two children; one of which suffered from mental disability.

The Melrose Place actress had apologized to Seeman’s family that it was purely accidental. The actress had been driving with BAC nearly three-times the limit allowed by law when the crash occurred in the Seeman’s driveway.
